How do the online courses work?

Courses include discussion and collaboration with fellow students and faculty. Via a Web-based learning system called Blackboard, you’ll interact extensively with other students and the instructor. You do not have to be online at a specific time, but you will need to coordinate your online schedule with some of your classmates for group projects.

How many PSL courses can I take in one term?

The typical course load is one course per eight-week term.

When are the PSL courses offered?

Courses are offered in the fall, spring and summer semesters. For more information regarding semester start dates, visit the UIC Academic Calendar.

Do I have to take the MS in Patient Safety Leadership courses in a specific order?
