What is the tuition for the UIC Patient Safety Leadership program?

The tuition rate for the master’s degree and graduate certificate programs is currently $770 per credit hour. Tuition rates are subject to change without notice any time prior to the first day of instruction. Tuition and fees do not include text books and course materials. Textbooks are available online through the UIC Bookstore or other vendors. Textbooks and materials for each term are available in the Student Resource Center in Blackboard several weeks prior to the start date of each course.

As a student in the Patient Safety Leadership program, am I eligible for scholarships or grants?

The UIC Patient Safety Leadership online program itself does not offer scholarships or grants. Information regarding types of tuition assistance available can be obtained from the UIC College of Medicine Financial Aid, the UIC Graduate College and the UIC Office of Special Scholarship Programs.

Can I apply Federal or State Veteran’s benefits to the Patient Safety Leadership online program?

You may be able to apply Veterans Benefits to these programs. The first step would be to verify your eligibility for Veterans Benefits. Visit the GI Bill webpage on the US Department of Veterans Affairs Web site to begin the process. Can I use my UIC employee tuition waiver for this program?

No, UIC employee tuition waivers are not accepted for the Patient Safety Leadership online program.
